Fantastic Opportunity With O&g Leader

As the Field Maintenance Instrument Technician for the Fort St. John district you will be responsible for the reliability, predictive and preventative maintenance programs for key facilities producing 150 MMCFD, and assets consisting of both oil and gas operations. You will be part of a team environment working closely with the Production Operations, Asset Integrity, Facilities, external contractors and report to the Senior Foreman.

Responsibilities:

Be responsible for the safe, economic and environmentally sensitive repair and maintenance of all rotating and related equipment in the district in accordance with the National and Provincial Codes, Standards, Regulations and Law.
Ensure that you are following proper Safety and Environmental practices and Work Procedures set out by Devon
Carry out the Preventative Maintenance Program for the electrical, instrumentation and mechanical groups through the utilization of the maintenance program within SAP

Ability to multi-task and keep on top of issues in a deadline-driven environment.
Display leadership characteristics of the ability to influence and affect change in a positive manner.
Displays effective time management and organizational skills
BC Journeyman Trades certificate in a least one applicable trade (Instrument Mechanic or dual ticket E/I) is required along with a minimum of 5 years of industry related experience
Thorough understanding of the technologies associated in the control, design and operations of oil & gas facilities
Previous exposure to various administrative programs in your trade
Understanding of SAP would be considered an asset
Valid Class 5 Drivers license
