Field Technician – Petroleum – Fort St. John, BC
If you have experience in the oil industry and are looking for a job that allows you to be based out of Fort St. John, BC we would like to meet with you!
Description:
-Collect oil & gas samples from various customer sites throughout North East BC
-Fulfil customer requirements regarding handling of these samples until delivery to analysis facility
-Work in a safe manner and follow all environmental requirements
-Extended overnight travel with many days away is a job requirement
-All training will be provided
Ideal candidate will have:
-High School Diploma required
-Experience in the oil industry a strong asset
-Good work ethic, listening skills, superior customer service, problem-solving, planning & organizing, mathematical ability, strong communication skills
-Must possess a valid Class 5 Driver’s License with no more than 3 demerits on abstract
-Must be able and willing to work overtime
-Note: this is a contract position
