First Aid Instructor Course

The North Peace Leisure Pool is offering a First Aid Instructor Course. This course enables you to teach and evaluate the following:
• CPR Level A, B, C and CPR-HCP
• Emergency and Standard First Aid
• AED Responder and AED Provider
• Oxygen Therapy
• AEC (must hold a current LSI or NLS certification)

You will be required to:
• Complete a precourse assignment and hand it in on or before the first day of the course.
• Attend 100% of the 32 hour First Aid Instructor course.
• Participate in a skill screening on the first day of the course to ensure that resuscitation and first aid skills meet the standard.
• Prepare and present peer teaching topics utilizing assigned teaching techniques.

In order to achieve certification as a First Aid Instructor, the candidate must complete the required apprenticeship within 3 years of the completion of the FAI course.

Dates: March 2,3,4, 17 & 18
Times: March 2 (6:00pm-10:00pm) – March 3,4,17 & 18 (9:00am-6:00pm)
Cost: $680.00 plus HST
